Actor Jayasurya is quite irked with the social media critics. He feels that they are adversely affecting the prospects of a movie. The actor says that instead of promoting a movie, they criticise a movie to death and that these people should be killed.

Jayasurya's 'Kumbasaram' had opened to mixed response and many had written off the movie. He says that it is those who hold a bitterness in not being able to make it big in the film industry who later turn critics and create problems for a movie. Jayasurya's perfromances in 'Iyobinte Pusthakom' had won him much accolades.
