Legendary football player Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19. The Portuguese Football Federation informed that he is asymptomatic. "The 35-year-old has left the Portugal training group to self-isolate," agency reports revealed on Tuesday evening (IST).
As per Italy's new quarantine rules, the footballer will require to isolate himself for at least 10 days.
Soon after he tested positive, social media users started retweeting a team lunch pic that Ronaldo posted on Monday. "One day after posting this pic... comes word from Portuguese media that Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19. Will tomorrow's game even be played?" a commentator asked on Twitter.
"He will have to at least conclude 10 days away from everyone else. Juventus face Barcelona in 15 days in the Champions League," tweeted Usher Komugisha.
