Self proclaimed model Meera Mitun has been known for her controversies more than anybody else in recent times, and she had been involved in a financial fraud in organizing a fashion event, Bigg Boss 3 controversies involving fellow contestants, and was stripped of her Miss South India title.

Last week Meera Mitun had arranged a press meet at a hotel in Egmore where she said that there's no law and order in Tamil Nadu and accused TN govt and police of not giving any protection for her and that she feels safe in Mumbai. She said police officials get bribe and work and will file case against anyone if people give money.

As she had been speaking against Police and TN govt, the hotel management had requested Meera not to make such controversial statements, for which Meera argued with them, and said in an arrogant manner that she will speak that way and also threatened to murder the hotel staff. Following this the hotel staff Arun filed a complaint against Meera Mitun, and two criminal cases have been filed at Egmore station now.
