Thala Dhoni to be seen as a warrior superhero in a brand-new comic book series!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a world-famous former Indian cricketer who captained the Indian national cricket team in limited-overs formats from 2007 to 2017 and in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014. He is currently the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), a franchise-based team of the Indian Premier League. MSD is often considered one of the greatest captains of all time in cricket history.

Now, the super-hot news is that Thala Dhoni is all set to debut as a superhero soon in an upcoming comic book franchise. The legendary cricketer will be seen as ‘Atharva’, a superhero and warrior leader in the upcoming graphic novel ‘Atharva – The Origin‘ developed by Virzu Studios in association with MIDAS Deals Pvt Ltd. This will be the first fantasy book in the book series.

The motion poster of the Atharva – The Origin was released today by MS Dhoni himself on his official Facebook handle. The minute-long video features a rugged looking Dhoni in a set of concept art images, giving the fans a glimpse into the world of Atharva and also a sneak peek into the first look of MSD as a superhero. This new age graphic novel is created by the author Ramesh Thamilmani, headed by MVM Vel Mohan, features over 150 lifelike illustrations which present the gripping, racy narrative.
