"Vallinam" is the upcoming film of the "Eeram" director Arivazhagan with Nakul playing the lead role and Mridula Bhasker pairing up with him.

This film is a promotion for the sport of basketball says sources. The film is about one of the most spoken about games in the world, against cricket! Well, not literally, but the villain of "Vallinam" is a cricketer while the hero is a basketball champ.

The end of the film was shot on a very expensively erected set of a basketball court paid for by the producer Aascar Ravichandran.

The music has been looked after by Thaman and Atul Kulkarni plays the basketball coach in the film. The villain cricketer of the "Vallinam" is the Telugu actor Siddarth Jonnalagadda.
