It's known that CPI national general secretary K Narayana, the other day, made intemperate remarks about Chiranjeevi, calling him a political broker. He used the term 'Chillara beragadu' in a fit of rage against the Megastar. Since then, several Mega fans and members of Jana Sena, especially Naga Babu, have lashed out at Narayana for losing his tongue. Naga Babu went to the extent of saying that Narayana has long ceased to eat staple food meant for humans. "He has been eating muck," he added.
Narayana today issued an apology. He said that his language was unparliamentary and therefore he regrets making the abusive comments about Chiru. "It's normal for political leaders to criticize rivals. My recent comments were an instance of 'basha dosham'. Chiranjeevi's fans and leaders belonging to the Kapu community have been offended. I can understand it. Criticism is a part and parcel of democracy. Yet, I should not have crossed the limits of language," he added.
Earlier, Narayana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have invited Superstar Krishna to the inaugural of Alluri Sitarama Raju's statue recently. "It was nothing but an insult to invite the 'chillara beragaadu' to the event," Narayana said.
