CPI national general secretary K Narayana enjoys making controversial statements. Recently, he made intemperate remarks about Chiranjeevi, calling him a political broker. He used the term 'Chillara beragadu' in a fit of rage against the Megastar for hobnobbing with the BJP and YCP. It is another matter that he later apologized to the legendary actor after Mega fans trolled him heavily.
Today, Narayana found fault with Jr NTR for calling on Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the BJP leader's visit to Hyderabad in August. "Amit Shah was a smuggler when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Where is the need for Jr NTR, who comes from a respected family, to meet such a criminal?" Narayana asked.
This time, Tarak's supporters are sure to bestow attention on Narayana, whose party is an irrelevant force in national politics.
Last month, Narayana opined that the Prime Minister should have invited Superstar Krishna to the inaugural of Alluri Sitarama Raju's statue in Andhra Pradesh.
