COVID-19: Kerala reports 9 new cases, total rises to 295

On Friday, Kerala reported 9 fresh positive cases of COVID-19, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. This takes the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 295 including the two deaths and the 42 recovered.
Speaking to media after the coronavirus evaluation meet, CM revealed that 7 of the new cases were reported from Kasaragod and one each from Thrissur and Kannur districts. 14 persons who were under treatment have recovered today and were discharged from hospitals. CM said that currently, 1,69,997 people are under observation in the state.
