As the active COVID-19 cases had declined in the last week, Kerala's coronavirus curve has started to flatten. Wednesday's numbers of confirmed cases in the state is sure to provide some reason to smile and relief for all Keralites.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday said that one new coronavirus positive case has been confirmed in the state. The patient is a native of Kannur developed the disease through contact, the CM added. With this, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state sums to a total of 387 out of which 167 are under treatment at various hospitals. CM also added that 97,464 persons are under observation in the state as on Wednesday.

With the fall in the number of COVID-19 cases in the state, it is proved that the state is taking measures such as aggressive testing, early detection, contact tracing, strict home quarantine and a robust public health system to combat the deadly disease.
