COVID-19 : Kerala records alarming 1,310 cases!

On Friday, as many as 1,310 persons tested positive for coronavirus in Kerala. Out of the total 1,162, contracted the virus through contact while the source remains unknown in 36 cases. As per the break-up, Forty-eight patients came from abroad and 54 from other states. 20 health workers had also developed the disease and 864 patients were cured of COVID-19 in Kerala on Friday.

Three deaths were reported on Friday, that sums up to a total COVID-19 death toll to 73. At present there are 10,495 active Covid cases in the state with 13,027 recoveries and there are 498 hotspots in Kerala.
