COVID-19: Kerala confirms 24 more positive cases, total rises to 265

On Wednesday, Kerala Chief Minister announced that 24 more people tested positive for novel coronavirus in the state. With this, the total number of confirmed cases has rose to 237 excluding the 26 who had recovered and two who died.
Among the new 24 cases, 12 are from Kasaragod, 3 from Ernakulam, two each from Thiruvananthapuram, Kannur, Thrissur, and Malappuram, and one from Palakkad. Nine of them had foreign travel history and 15 got the disease by contacting the infected people.
As many as 1,64,130 people are under observation in the state. While 1,63,508 are under home isolation, 622 are admitted to various hospitals.123 people have been admitted to various hospitals on Wednesday alone.
