COVID-19: Allu Arjun donates Rs 25 lakh to Kerala CMDRF

It is a known fact that Telugu sensation Allu Arjun has a huge fan following in Kerala, especially among the youngsters. The actor who had earlier lent a helping hand during the 2018 flood times, has now donated a huge sum for corona relief in the state.
At the press conference held on April 8, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced that the Tollywood star had donated Rs 25 Lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) for the cause of COVID-19. The fund raised through CMDRF will be used for coronavirus preventive measures and assure treatment to the patients.
It may be remembered that Allu Arjun had earlier announced through his Twitter page that a sum of Rs one crore twenty-five lakh will be donated to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many lives . In these difficult times with humility I would like to donate One Crore twenty five lakhs to the People of Andhra Pradesh , Telangana & Kerala .
