Universal Star Kamal Haasan has been hospitalized in Porur, Chennai after he was diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier today. It's a case of isolation out of care.

The legendary actor, who was in the US last week to launch his clothing brand, gave an update on Twitter. "After I returned from the States, I had a mild cough and when I went for tests, it was discovered that I am COVID positive. I have isolated myself in the hospital. It is time to realize that the pandemic is not over yet and please be careful," the 'Vishwaroopam' actor tweeted in Tamil.
Kamal who shot for the weekend episodes of 'Bigg Boss 5 (Tamil)' last week was scheduled to join the sets of Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed 'Vikram' in Coimbatore. Scenes on him, actor Vijay Sethupathi and 'Pushpa' star Fahadh Faasil were to be shot.
Several celebs have taken to social media to wish the 'Indian 2' actor a quick recovery.
