Covid hospitals in Telangana have to follow these new rules

In view of the rising number of active cases in the State, the KCR government on Tuesday came up with a new set of strictures for hospitals treating Covid-19 patients.
The Public Health department asked the hospitals to admit only patients with moderate to severe symptoms. Those with mild symptoms shouldn't be admitted. "Mild and asymptomatic cases having oxygen saturation at room air of more than 94% are recommended for home/institutional isolation in covid care centres," the order said.
Hospitals have been barred from asking patients seeking admission to produce the covid test result. If they are showing moderate to severe symptoms and need hospitalization, the hospital has to cater to them if resources are available.
Private hospitals in Telangana should mandatorily display a board at entrance with details of bed availability. This is aimed at ensuring that relatives needing information are readily served with data.
