The coronavirus effect has kept all business and entertainment activities in lockdown for the past two months in Tamil Nadu and the rest of India. Slowly restrictions have been lifted and standalone businesses have resumed and in movie industry postproduction work has been allowed from last week.

Today the Tamil Nadu government has granted permission to resume shooting of serials and television shows with the condition that is should be held only inside houses and studios. The location should not be in containment zones and the cast and crew should wear masks excepting the performing actors and practice social distancing and hygiene by washing hands regularly. No audiences or onlookers should be allowed and similarly, shots can be taken in public places that are outside the restricted areas and the public should not be allowed to watch. The locations, vehicles used and the equipment should be sanitized at regular intervals.
