Popular Bollywood and Bhojpuri actress Sriprada breathed her last on Wednesday due to Covid related complications. The film actors' body CINTAA shared the news of Sriprada's death on social media. "#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of #SriPrada (Member since March 1989)," read the post.

Talking to TOI, The CINTAA General Secretary Amit Behl told, “The second wave of covid has taken too many precious lives. What has already been written in the media about the people who have passed away don’t need to reiterate but yes Sripada was a senior member of our fraternity.”

Sriprada, who got her name from Sridevi, and Jaya Prada who were the leading actress at the time she entered Bollywood, has starred opposite actors like Dharmendra, Govinda, Raj Babbar among many others. Apart from movies, Sriprada is also known for her roles in TV shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Zee Horror show, Adhuri Kahani Hamari, and more. She had also starred in a few south films.
