"A piece of good news to share as #TelanganaFightsCorona. 11 previously corona positive cases from Telangana, have tested negative in the latest set of tests today," said a proud KTR on Sunday, giving a sense of relief to millions. This was important as the news came on the back of an increasing number of positive cases in Telangana. The State has registered 70 positive cases as on Sunday night, of which 57 are active. About 5,740 are in quarantine in the State.
The Minister in the KCR government had another good piece of news to share. He said that a completely refurbished and exclusive 350-bed hospital for Corona patients is ready at King Koti in Hyderabad. "Four more exclusive hospitals being refurbished and readied in the city," KTR added.
On a day when the Chief Minister spoke in Hindi at a presser to assure that his government will take care of migrants living in the State, KTR seemed to lament that the Delhi-based media's focus is more on Delhi, because of which it has failed to highlight KCR's assurance. "If only the national media could think beyond the National Capital Region," KTR wrote on Twitter.
