COVID-19: Kollywood star Vijay donates Rs 1.3 Cr

Vijay, the superstar of 'Bigil', has contributed a sum of Rs 1.3 Cr to various funds, including to the Telugu States. Here is a break-up of his donation:
Tamil Nadu CM Relief Fund: Rs 50 Lakhs
Prime Minister's Relief Fund: Rs 25 Lakhs
Film Employees Federation of South India: Rs 25 Lakhs
Kerala CM Relief Fund: Rs 10 Lakhs
Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Pondicherry CM Relief Funds: Rs 5 Lakhs each.
'Master' is his next release. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has music by Anirudh and 'Uppena' star Vijay Sethupathi is the villain. Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah and Shantanu Bhagyaraj are part of the cast. Sathyan Sooryan is taking care of the cinematography, while Philomin Raj is in charge of the edits.
