Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has self-isolated himself after a Congress MLA named Imran Khedawala today tested positive for Coronavirus. It's because Imran had met with Vijay Rupani on Tuesday along with other legislators after giving his swab sample at a lab.
A PTI report has said that the CM will not meet anyone for the next seven days. He will govern the State from his quarantine. The BJP leader will interact with officials via video conferencing.
Meanwhile, the Congress MLA has come in for criticism for not staying at home after he gave samples. Anyone who shows symptoms or has given samples for a test should voluntarily quarantine himself.
