Essential services won't take a beating during the lockdown in India till April 14. As announced by the Centre, the below list of essentials will be available to everyone across the country.

1. Daily groceries
2. Banks & ATMs
3. Media, both print and electronic
4. Internet & Telecom services will run as usual
5. Delivery of food & pharmaceutical will continue
6. Petrol pumps will be open
7. Capital market hasn't been closed down
8. Cold storage facilities (to help farmers, etc.)
9. Private Security services
10. Power Corporation

Despite the above list, some cities like Hyderabad and Gurgaon have reported extreme difficulties in obtaining essentials like milk. This is because, in some States, policemen are imposing unrestrained restrictions on the free movement of goods and services due to "overreach".
