COVID 19 updates - 2393 and 3943 new cases reported in Chennai and Tamil Nadu

The official coronavirus updates today has seen the high number of 3943 new cases in Tamil Nadu for the consecutive third day in that average figure and the state now has 90,167 patients. Chennai has recorded its highest single-day spike in new cases numbering 2393 and now houses 58,327 patients. The death toll in the state has now risen to 1201 with 60 persons losing their lives in the past twenty four hours.
On the positive side, 2325 patients discharged.have been discharged today rising the number of recoveries to 50,074. Today too the higher number of 30,053 persons were tested out of the total of 11,70,683 to date which is the highest in the country.
