The COVID 19 situation seems to have worsened in Tamil Nadu and especially the Chennai Zone as every day there are increases of new patients in excess of 1000 for the past one week or so. Veteran stage actor and news anchor T.V. Varadharajan in a video statement has shared that a popular celebrity who he does not wish to name has been affected by the coronavirus and is very ill.

Varadharajan has added that he and the family took the patient around to most hospitals in Chennai and were informed that no beds were available and were refused treatment. He has added that the family were also told by the hospitals that no treatment is available.

Varadharajan has warned the people to be alert at all times and never feel that it cannot hit healthy people because the said celebrity had no other ailments and also was maintaining all measures to protect himself but still got infected. He has requested the people to never venture outside unless it is absolutely necessary and take all precautions as chances of getting treated are slimming day by day.
