Bollywood starlet Shikha Malhotra, who has acted in movies such as Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fan', has started volunteering to help patients at a Mumbai hospital by joining as a nurse to help the patients affected by the deadly coronavirus.

The actress, who has a degree in nursing, says that she had decided to help COVID-19 patients as she is equipped to help them.

She adds that, be it as an entertainer or a nurse, she is willing to serve the country in whatever way she can. Seeking blessings of the people, the beauty urges people to stay safe at home and support the government.

Shikha also requests people possessing medical degrees to help the fight against Coronavirus by volunteering to serve in hospitals. Shikha is also helping people in Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Centre in Mumbai.
