Bala gets order from the Court

Popular screenwriter Rathnakumar has filed a petition in the court, citing that writer turned actor Vela Ramamurthy, who has assisted Bharathiraja in a few films has plagiarized his story Kuttra Parambarai' and Bala is making a film based on that.

Rathnakumar has sought the court to ban Bala and Vela Ramamurthy from making Kuttra Parambarai'. The court has ordered Bala and Vela Ramamurthy to file their reply regarding the matter. It may be recalled that Bharathiraja and Rathnakumar announced a film with the same title a few months back which sparked a controversy between them and Bala who also was keen to make a multistarrer based on Vela Ramamurthy's version of the story.
