The yesteryear director K Bhagyaraj has given a lot of memorable films and one such film was "Indru Poi Naalai Vaa" which was released in 1981. This film was a story of 3 young men courting one young lady and the comedy that evolves around it.

Santhanam's latest production "Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya", which is to be released this Pongal, is said to have a similar story line where Santhanam, Power Star Srinivasan and Sethu woo Vishaka Singh. Seems like Bhagyaraj is a little annoyed at this because he had plans of remaking this film with his son Shanthanoo and what's worse is that Santhanam did not even bother to inform Bhagyaraj of such a movie and get the remake rights.

Bhagyaraj does not want to go to court about this because Red Giants is releasing the film on January 13th, but sources also say that he has filed a case to sue the producers of "Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya" for Rs 2 crores.
