'Court' enters the Oscar race!

It comes as a very good news for Indian cinema. 'Court', the well-acclaimed Marathi film, reported to have entered the nomination list of the prestigious award show, the Oscars for the year 2016. The directorial debut of Chaitanya Tamhane has been chosen for the Best Foreign Language category.

Starring Vivek Gomber, Geetanjali Kulkarni and Vira Sathidar, 'Court' made huge impact on Indian as well as international audience. While it bagged the National Award for Best Feature Film this year, 'Court' won the Lion of the Future Award (also for Best Feature Film) at Venice Film Festival in 2014, where it was premiered. It was also leading in the non-competitive Horizons category there.
