It's known that ABN Andhra Jyothy's Managing Director Vemuri Radha Krishna had filed a defamation suit against the actor and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan this April. The defamation case is for a huge Rs 10 crores.
It all started with Pawan claiming that ABN Andhra Jyothy channel had gained mileage by airing the cuss word used by Sri Reddy in abusing the actor-politician's mother. In hitting out at the channel, Power Star questioned Radha Krishna by asking some so-called tough questions. He even used RK's pics in a few tweets. Following Pawan's sensational tweets, a few irate supporters of his vandalized the OB vans of the channel in Hyderabad.
To begin with, the ABN group demanded that Pawan should withdraw the tweets and issue an apology for defaming the channel and its MD.
When there was no response from the Jana Sena supremo, Radhakrishna took the route of defamation.
The Hyderabad City Civil Court has directed Pawan Kalyan to either appear alone or with his lawyer on July 24. As of now, he is busy with his Porata Yatra in Visakha district.
