The prominent Kinnera exponent Darsanam Mogulaiah has acquired instant fame among the youths, thanks to the title track from 'Bheemla Nayak'. The Kinnera artist's vocals at the beginning of the song have come in for huge applause everywhere.

Speaking to a YouTube channel, Mogulaiah has said that he could have earned crores of rupees had he been after money. "I am almost living in poverty. But I am content that I have brought out the Kinnersa tradition to the fore," he said.

Hailing from the Avusalikunta village in Nagar Kurnool district, Mogulaiah said that the clothes he wears are donated to him on a regular basis by an adviser to the government. "I am happy that people are learning about me and my tradition. There was a question on me in a government exam," he added.

He revealed that when the Chief Minister of Telangana felicitated him, he didn't even seek any gift or largesse. "I was happy to receive the award and Rs 10,000 as a reward," Mogulaiah added.
