The Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Beela Rajesh has given the official updates for today (Tuesday April 7th) that the number of coronavirus infected persons in the state has gone up by 69 with one death a 64 year old woman who was also suffering from diabetes.  63 out of the 69 who tested positive are from the single event and the total number of patients now stands at 690 with 19 cured and death count including today is 7.

Tamil Nadu has so far tested 5305 patients there are close to one lakh people under observation.  The people of the state were breathing a sigh of relief as yesterday only 50 patients were announced following more than 100 on the previous two days but now once again an increased number of 69 is causing great concern.

As advised by the government and the experts staying at home, practicing social distancing and hygiene are the best weapons to fight the unseen but all powerful enemy of the world the coronavirus.
