The Tamil Nadu Health Minister C. Vijayabaskar has confirmed that 7 more new patients have tested positive for the novel coronavirus that is spreading like wildfire throughout the world claiming thousands of lives.
The persons are a 43-year-old male with travel history to Trivandrum who is admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Chennai, a 28-year-old male co-worker of the earlier positive patient at Tiruvannamalai, 3 Male patients at Vilupuram with travel history to Delhi and another 2 Males at Madurai Rajaji, Hospital who also have a travel history to Delhi. All seven are being treated in isolation and are said to be stable.
From the look of things currently on the coronavirus front Delhi seems to be one of the center points for the spread of the disease as 1500 persons from Tamil Nadu and many others from different parts of the country visited there for The Tablighi Jamaat event. As of now, several positive cases have been reported from Telangana, Karnataka and TN among those who attended and the rest are being traced and tested. 82 persons from Coimbatore are also showing symptoms raising the question of whether Delhi is the center of the spread in India.
