Coronavirus is the word that is inevitably spoken and written about all over the globe due to its terror trail continuing to infect 436,623 people and death toll nearing the shocking twenty thousand mark. In India at the time of this writing, there are 562 people infected and a twenty one day lockdown is in effect after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced it at 8 pm on March 24th.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has given the positive news that the coronavirus strain in India is much less virulent than the ones affecting other parts of the world. While many are trolling him for giving the information one person has shared a research paper that shows that it could be true.
Dr. Swamy has written "My US based friend,a scientist Ramesh Swamy informs me that a US researcher has found: “the #COVID19 strain in India is a less virulent mutation. Uniquely it is able to be targetted and defeated more effectively by our body’s natural defensive mechanism than the strains abroad.”
Anyway, when all media platforms are reporting a plethora of bad news the seasoned politician Subramanian Swamy has given some good news. But this should not be taken as an excuse to break the curfew and all citizens are advised to stay at home and practice social distancing and hygiene by washing hands regularly with soap and water.
