Hollywood star and multiple Oscar award-winning actor Tom Hanks took it to social media to announce that he and his wife, actress Rita Wilson wife have tested positive for coronavirus. The couple is currently in Australia.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, both 63, had fever when they were in Australia and have been isolated and monitored as is the procedure followed by health officials. Tom posted a photo of a surgical glove in a biohazard trash bag.

Tom Hanks tweeted "We felt a bit tired like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus and were found to be positive. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks' will be tested observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety require. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?".
