A Tamil cinema assistant director was killed in a bike accident trying to reach his hometown Madurai due to Chennai being under lockdown to combat the spread of coronavirus. In a similar manner, two persons who started by bike from Hosur to their hometown Ottanchathiram also lost their lives in a mishap

The Tamil Nadu government has enforced Section 144 throughout the state coming into force from 6 pm this evening to 12 am on April 1st. From Monday evening at least two and a half lakh people have gotten out of Chennai from the Koyambedu bust stand and the transport corporation had to employ five thousand extra buses. While netizens are slamming those who are panicking and leaving to be with their families others also see as a no win situation for them and instead pray that the COVID 19 does not spread due to this.
