Breaking: Approval given for selling Coronavirus tablet in India!

It has been officially announced that Brinton Pharmaceuticals has been granted the approval by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for selling the drug Favipiravir, with the brand name Faviton for the treatment of mild to moderate cases of Coronavirus infection.

With evidences coming from different cases across the world, it has been observed that favipiravir is an effective treatment option to treat mild to moderate cases of Coronavirus and this orally administered medicine is convenient than intravenous medicines.

Brinton pharmaceuticals said that Favipiravir was first approved in India by regulatory authorities in June for treating emergency cases of covid-19 patients. Faviton, with a maximum retail price is ₹59 per tablet, will be available in 200mg tablets and will be available in strips of 10 tablets and boxes of 50 tablets, with a shelf life of 90 days.
