'PSV Garuda Vega' and 'Kalki' actor Dr. Rajasekhar has decided to carry out philanthropic activities to help out those poor artists who are being affected by the ongoing shutdown of the Telugu film industry.
The senior actor today issued a statement saying that he will be there to supply essentials to them. "With the Coronavirus threat upsetting the globe, the government and film industry bodies have suspended all film shoots. With this, economically-poor artistes of the Movie Artistes Association have been left in the lurch. They are unable to afford even basics with the wages going away," he said.
"In order to reach out to them, I have resolved to help out the poor artistes for 10 days by supplying essentials for basic survival through the Rajasekhar Charitable Trust. Those in need of help may reach out to us on 9010810140 and submit their details to Naveen Varma. Needed help will be extended to them," he added.
