Bigg Boss Malayalam season 2 is currently in its 75th day with just 4 weeks left for the finale. Hosted by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, the show has grabbed audiences’ attention and has become one of the most-watched shows in Mollywood. But looks it looks like the viewers might not get to watch the show in the days ahead.
Owing to the Coronavirus spread across the country, the reality show's production company, Endemol Shine India has announced that the show is being 'temporarily suspended'. Reportedly, the last episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 2 will be aired on Friday, March 20.
The official statement read, "We have currently announced a voluntary suspension of all our administrative and production department until further notice, in the light of the pandemic spread of COVID-19. This is a temporary suspension aimed at contributing efforts of minimizing the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with the safety and precautionary measures suggested by the government."
In the statement, it was also clarified that ‘the company has not experienced any confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the organization’". The show that airs on Asianet will reportedly be temporarily shut until the situation is better.
