Alarming increase of coronavirus patients in Tamil Nadu numbers doubled in single day

An alarming 110 new patients have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tamil Nadu doubling the number of affected in one day to 234. Out of all the infected a staggering 190 have contracted the disease from attending the Tablighi Jamaat conference in Delhi that happened between 10th and 20th of March in Nizamuddin. The patients have been isolated and treated in fifteen districts across the state.
Official reports also state that 1103 persons who attended the Delhi event are under isolation while the rest 400 are being traced. Tamil Nadu Health secretary Beela Ramesh has revealed that all the persons under observation came forward to be tested.
