Indian Railways stop all trains till March 31st to combat coronavirus spread

As the Coronavirus infected numbers in India is increasing day by day standing at 323 at the time of this writing the Indian government is taking all possible steps to combat the threat and the Janata Curfew has also met with huge success as people kept of the streets. The Indian Railways has announced the stoppage of all trains til March 31st to curb the movement of possibly infected people as a strong step in the issue.

The Railways has also confirmed that all suburb trains and metro trains too will stop functioning. A total of 12,000 trains that ply every day in India will be off the tracks which is unprecedented in the history of the country considering the length of the lockdown.
