India's first woman cardiologist passes away due to corona!

Famous cardiologist Dr S Padmavati passed away due to COVID-19, confirmed the National Heart Institute yesterday. The 103 year old doctor had been undergoing treatment at NHI for the past 11 days.
Dr S Padmavati is the first female cardiologist of India and is called as the ''God Mother of Cardiology". As per NHI's statement, Doctor Padmavat had passed away on August 29 due to COVID-19 infection.
Doctor Padmavati was the founder of NHI, and was born in Burma (now Myanmar) in 1917, a year before Spanish flu affected the whole world. Padmavati who was admitted with COVID-19 had breathing issues and fever, and later developed pneumonia and was on ventilator support. She passed away after sustaining a cardiac arrest.
