The Majority of the news about the coronavirus pandemic that is holding the entire world hostage for the three months is bad news. However there is something to cheer about in Tamil Nadu as two patients from Porurl, Chennai who returned from the US and tested positive have been discharged and sent home. The duo whe were treated at the Stanley Government Hospital have tested negative twice confirming that they are cured from coronavirus.
The Tamil Nadu Health Minister C. Vijayabhaskar has shared that the two patients would be quarantined in their houses for the next fourteen days to make sure that there is no recurrence if any. In TN the total Samples Tested: are 1,763 with 1,632 with negative results and:42 showing up Positive including the 2 who have been discharged). Results are awaited for 89 others.
The government meanwhile apart from the lockdown til April 14th has identified ten districts and demarcated affected areas into zones and have cordoned the areas and are testing every individual living there to check if there is any community spread.
