As the alarming spread of COVID-19 has put the Kerala Police on high alert, Kerala Police Social Media Cell and State Police Media Centre — are working non-stop to create awareness about the virus in a humorous way, through videos, posts, and memes on social media.

On Wednesday, the Police team has come up with an idea to cheer up the Keralites who feel lonely during the ongoing lockdown. "Feeling lonely in the lockdown??We are with you, 24×7 through our official FB messenger..Together we can share our thoughts,ideas, emotions, expressions, suggestions....For a better tomorrow...we can stay put in the house and connect digitally," reads Kerala Police's FB post. The new initiative has also received a warm welcome from the public.
