US President Donald Trump has claimed that America has got one of the lowest Covid-19 mortality rates in the world. Taking to Twitter, the Potus also claimed that the American economy is "roaring back".

"Coronavirus deaths are way down. Mortality rate is one of the lowest in the World. Our Economy is roaring back and will NOT be shut down. “Embers” or flare ups will be put out, as necessary!" Donald Trump tweeted.

In response, a doctor named Eugene Gu said that Coronavirus deaths are not way down but are increasing. "More than 120,000 Americans have perished. It wasn’t too long ago that Trump said we would have zero deaths and zero cases and that the virus would go away by summer. He is nothing but a total and incompetent buffoon. Since there is no cure for the coronavirus and no vaccine, there really is very little that hospitals and doctors can do for you besides put you on a ventilator. That’s why we must focus on preventive care. Wear masks when you go out. And stay 6 ft away from others when possible," he added.

Journalist Aaron Rupar said, "Trump offers some appallingly ignorant commentary on coronavirus: 'If we didn't wanna test, or if we didn't test, we wouldn't have cases. But we have cases because we test.' This is false. Covid cases would exist even if we didn't test for them, they would just be misdiagnosed."
