Coronavirus attacks more patients with a particular blood group

The coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt normal life across the globe with two lakh people affected and the death toll crossing eight thousand. Efforts are on to find a vaccine to combat the dreaded killer even as the whole world is in shutdown and self quarantine mode. In China where it all originated normalcy is returning slowly and the doctors have made an important annoucement on Wednesday which could help in the catastrophe.
According to the Chinese doctors, the novel COVID 19 has afflicted more patients with blood group A similar to how the SARS virus too did a few years earlier. Though the virus infects all blood groups there is a call for those people with A group to take extra precautionary measures in the coming days.
