With the novel coronavirus/ COVID-19 threat turning huge, in U.S. a massive crowd comprising different age groups and ethnicities waited for 2-hours in a queue to purchase firearms and ammunition outside a weapons store located in Sloatsburg, New York.
It has been said that shoppes turned to purchasing firearms to ensure protection during the coronavirus scare times and it has been said by shoppers that they're purchasing firearms to protect themselves if either their lives or their property are impacted by people with Coronavirus.
New York State is mostly in a lock down, and till Saturday 56 people had died from COVID-19 in New York. With local police force focusing on corona, they can't be looking at crimes such as robbery and hence firearms are required, say people. People bought pistols and rifles and this also included first time gun users and this public trading of weapons and ammunition during corona times comes as a shocker.
