Even in this critical situation, an IIT student has made a prank with Coronavirus.
A Ph.D student of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) celebrated her birthday with her friends on Saturday and boarded a private bus to Coimbatore while her friends followed the bus in a car. The student has told her co-passenger that she tested positive for COVID-19 and as the passengers were shocked, her co-passenger called P. Sampath, Joint Director-Epidemic, Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
The girl announced all passengers that she is Corona positive and told the driver to stop the bus, and as the bus was stopped she got down and boarded her friends' car. Using the ticket booking details the student's phone number was traced and the girl was ordered to visit the health department office. After the girl pleaded, the officials made strong warning and sent her back, and it has been said that she was also warned by IIT Management.
