In a shocking turn of events eight people including four cops and an assistant priest have tested positive for Coronavirus in Ayodhya district just before the bhumi puja of the Ram Temple which is scheduled to be held on August 5.
As said by Anuj Kr Jha, Ayodhya District Magistrate, COVID tests are being conducted repeatedly in entire Ayodhya district and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. One person who returned from Maharajganj after a leave tested positive and following this his colleagues were tested on July 7 with one of them turning out to be positive.
As per reports, on 13th July, 98 tests were done and one more person tested positive. Yesterday antigen tests of 100 people were conducted and four cops and an assistant priest tested positive and they're currently in isolation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be laying the foundation stone of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5.
