Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took it to Twitter to announce that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. In a tweet, Siddaramaiah revealed that he has been admitted to the hospital as per advice of doctors.
The Congress leader has also requested people who had come in contact with him to monitor symptoms and self quarantine themselves.
Siddharamaiah tweeted "I have been tested positive for Covid-19 & also been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors as a precaution. I request all those who had come in contact with me to check out for symptoms & to quarantine themselves". It must be noted that Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa and his daughter also tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday.
