Karnataka govt bans public gatherings, shutdown of theaters due to Corona!

Corona virus has been having a huge impact on the country, on the economy as well as the normal lifestyle of the citizens, and the number of cases has been increasing as well. With the first death in the country due to Corona virus reported in Karnataka, drastic measures are being taken.

Karnataka chief minister BS Yedyurappa has announced that public meetings, gatherings, marriages and all events which involves the presence of huge number of people will be banned for a week. The chief minister has also ordered the shut down of malls, theaters and pubs for a week.

One week holiday has been declared by the government for colleges and universities in the state. Earlier yesterday, it was found that a patient who had died after showing symptoms of being affected by Corona virus, tested positive, making it the first death in the country due to the virus.
