Even during the Coronavirus pandemic, one of the busiest makers of the Indian film industry is director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who had directed a short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn with Simbu and Trisha and a music video Oru Chance Kudu starring Megha Akash, Kalaiyarasan and Shantanu.

On the other hand, Gautham Vasudev Menon also has the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Dhruva natchathiram and the Varun starrer Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha waiting for release and are in post production stage. Now the director has taken up an exciting project based on Coronavirus.

Gautham Vasudev Menon and Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai have teamed with Discovery Plus for the documentary "Covid 19: India's war against the virus" which will present the different steps taken across the country to fight the pandemic and also have interviews of frontline workers, medical staff and their experiences. The Tamil version will be narrated by Gautham Menon and the hindi version by Manoj Bajpai and this documentary will premiere on July 16 at 8 PM on Discovery Plus and on July 20 on Discovery channel.
