Fans eager to watch Salman Khan's latest film, Tiger 3, faced a distressing situation when a group within the audience set off firecrackers inside the cinema hall. The release of Tiger 3 coincided with the festive occasion of Diwali, marking Salman's third appearance as the YRF Spy, Tiger. In a video circulated on X (formerly known as Twitter), a packed theater erupted in celebration as Salman appeared on the big screen. However, the jubilation took a harrowing turn as a group initiated fireworks within the screening room.
The viral video depicted what seemed like rockets being set off amid the crowded space, prompting several attendees to hastily evacuate the theater in hopes of avoiding any injuries. Regrettably, this wasn't an isolated occurrence. Salman Khan's fan club in Malegaon also indulged in setting off fireworks during the screening of Tiger 3, a spectacle that was shared across social media platforms. At Mohan Cinema in Malegaon, Maharashtra, fireworks went off during the 9:30 pm show, causing a chaotic situation near the seating area.
The video, gaining widespread attention, has drawn criticism from various quarters on social media. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also responded to the clip, sharing it on X and expressing his disapproval. He tweeted, "And we think we are not MAD (flushed-face emoji)." Such actions were condemned by individuals on X as well, citing the dangerous and inappropriate nature of setting off fireworks inside a theatre.
This distressing scenario occurred previously during the release of Salman Khan's movie, "Antim: The Final Truth," in 2021. Salman himself took to social media to denounce the incident, urging his fans to refrain from repeating such actions and emphasizing the potential hazards of fireworks inside a closed auditorium.
Amid the uproar, law enforcement has stepped in. An FIR has been lodged, and two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident. Legal action has been initiated, with a case registered against Mohan Theater under Section 112 at the Chavani police station, leading to the apprehension of two individuals involved in this alarming event.
